Essentials For Rider

  • Helmet: ASTM/SEI certified; snug with no wobble; chin strap fits two fingers.

  • Pants & Gloves: seams that don’t rub; grippy palms for light contact.

  • Footwear: short boots + half chaps or tall boots; small heel prevents slipping.

Essentials For Horse

  • Saddle: tree width and panel contact match the horse; use a clean, even pad.

  • Girth & Stirrups: secure but not pinching; stirrup length so knee angle ~100–110°.

  • Bit & Bridle: choose mild, well-fitted hardware; heavier isn’t “better”—clarity is.
